In following in her sister's footsteps, David Stokke has also competed on the national gymnastics scale. She set the freshman high school American pole vault record in the year the year 2004 in Newport Harbor High School by jumping 3.86 meters. Her own record was broken later that year, with a 4.11 Meter vault.
