Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies Acting career began at age 12 when she started going to local open casting calls. Gillies soon began to appear in commercials of companies such as Virgin Mobile. Gillies had her first TV part as a regular actor in the three seasons of The Black Donnellys. Gillies has said that she was never allowed to see the show in its entirety because her parents thought that it wasn't appropriate for her in the moment. Her roles were minor in The Clique as well as Harold as well as Locker 514. Her role was announced in this summer's season, as Lucy, alongside Ariana Grande, who was her co-star in Victorious as part of Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. Later that year, 13 made the move to Broadway in a move that made it the first Broadway production to feature an ensemble and cast entirely made up of teenagers. She was given the big songs "Opportunity," "It Can't be true," along with smaller songs like "Hey Kendra," "Getting Ready" and some others. Gillies was with the production up until January 4, 2009.
