Jamie Colby

Colby is employed by Fox News since July 2003 as National News Correspondent and Anchor. Colby served as anchor, reporter and also as a correspondent for CBS News prior to moving to FOX News Channel. Colby also filled in for CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby has been admitted to practice law to practice law in New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. She received awards such as the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002 for covering the attacks of September 11 and for her reporting on the September 11 attacks. Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000, as well as the Clarion Award for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her one of the "Rising News Star to Be Watching". Colby was also an attorney in private law practices throughout her 10-year tenure. Her law practice began by working with a Hollywood entertainment firm that sent her to The Tonight Show. At the age of 22, Colby was working as a journalist as well as host for Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal of NBC alongside him as well as during his divorce.
