Sasha first revealed to be transgender in high school. Sasha had to face some tough times however she was confident that his family was there to support him, and music was a way to help. Jim and Sasha each have a songwriter. They have been performing at local venues as well as open mics in other places. The Voice coach did not talk about Sasha's story However, Jim and Sasha discussed their life in a short intro clip. Sasha started playing guitar aged six. They talked about their musical tastes as well as shared their stories about their first encounter. The fact that his father was a music instructor made it easier for Sasha to learn the craft. Sasha was a victim of identity problems as a boy, even though he is a woman. In a post on Instagram, she recently shared his difficulties. In the meantime, Jim overcame with emotion in his explanation of why he couldn't be a participant in those difficult times.
