Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American journalist. She currently works as working as a sportscaster at ESPN, working as an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. She's the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from the time she turned nine. The ability that helped her get her first job as a Univision Production Assistant in Miami. There, she collaborated with producers for television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. She was hired as an reporter at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. She moved in 2009 from Rio Grande Valley, Texas to become an anchor for the newscast of The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Covering stories related to the trafficking of drugs and immigration from both sides of the Mexico-Texas border, she was an anchor on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 at 5 pm. She was a news reporter in English at 9 pm and the news anchor was on until 10 pm, and then returned to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Also, she was often requested to be a sports and weather anchor. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate and she assumed other responsibilities. She created pieces for Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS, and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. She was a host of sports for the morning show of Despierta America Deportes. Also, she was anchor of the sports segment on Primer Impacto, a magazine program that airs on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents hail of Veracruz Mexico. She was born November 22 the 22nd of November, 1985, in Mexico City. She has an older sister. In 1992, the family moved to Miami after moving out of Mexico into the US. Her parents divorced within a short time and in the year 1995, she got married to an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. She stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime, where she had been provided with the opportunity of a job. Antonietta still a senior at high school, yet she was clear about the career she was looking for. So while assessing if Mount Union would be a good fit for her, Antonietta visited the school. In the end, she fell in love with the school. The university offered her the opportunity to study a major. She graduated from high school and began studying media at the college. The relationship she formed was long-lasting with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director for WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was an affiliate. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm in Journalism touched her deeply. As a result, she determined to meet his demands, never letting him down.
